Kenny dedication page

You know you love your chickens when you start collecting baby photos of them. Below is a collection of Kenny. He is only 3.5 months old right now but I've enjoyed him and his personality. Kenny is doing real good.

Spring day today, chicks out in the yard!

It finally stopped raining and the clouds parted for a while so I could get the baby chicks out into the cages. they definitely enjoy nibbling on the new grass and being out in the fresh air away from the heat lamp. Here's some photos of the chicks as a group and individually I have 7 of them. Which one is your favorite?

first day of 2020c

No issues with hatching. Spent 24hrs after last hatch in incubator. Now under light and are doing fantastic.

Three of them are 'mars kids and are easily identified by the rose comb (Rr) The rest are Kentuckys (rr).

Rose combs are a dominant trait. Only need one for phenotype expression. Follow the link to learn more.
