Cozy Cuddles!

More snow forcasted tonight! Brrrrr! I took advantage of the direct sunlight and cleaned out the brooder. The chicks have been doing very well in here, but, it is far to large for just four. There was an obvious draft which worried me. So I decided to move the brooder to a less drafty area and began a hunt for a smaller container which could fit inside of the original unit till their size provided better warmth. Away to the basement I went, and returned with a nice, aged, corrugated box with high sides. In went the the bedding, up went the lamp, and finally the chicks.

I must say they are surely looking toasty and comfortable now.
